Snow, Snow, Snow !

I love snow and make snowmen, but I don't like when it's cold. Snow it's precipitation. Snowflakes usually look like white tiny stars but they're look like dentrites, columns, plates and needles too. We can say that it is small ice-creams. Snows only when temperature is under 0°C. Snow crytals 'are born' in the clouds when water freezes.

I don't really know why snow is white and why glaciers are blue but I find information that it's because ice in the snow are much smaller than that of the glaciers and light bounce out of snowflakes so it looks white but in the glacier the light refracts less often so the light will pass through more ice before it escapes again, so any weak colour in the ice will be a lot more obvious [ this tense is from http://www.thenakedscientists.com/ because I don't know how to write it ].
But snow isn't always white. Yes it is usually white but not always. For example in February 2007 in regions of Western Siberia scientist saw yellow snow ( colour snow usually isn't natural at 100 % e.g. higher I wrote about yellow snow, it was coloured by dust from Central Asia ).

In Melbourne snow has been recorded but it's very seldom. There is too hot but in Australian Alps snows every year from June to August, so when we have hot summer and holiday[!].
